 The Ibom Angel Network welcomes accredited investors, including individuals, institutions, and investing groups, who are of Akwa Ibom origin or are tech enthusiasts interested in investing in innovative ventures emerging from Akwa Ibom and its neighboring states. Prospective investors can initiate the onboarding process by filling out the designated form. Upon completion, a thorough vetting process will be conducted to assess the suitability of the investor. Applicants who successfully pass the vetting process will be invited to finalize the joining process. 

 The Collective's transparent fee structure ensures clarity and predictability for investors. A one-time joining fee covers the costs associated with due diligence and other administrative aspects of the onboarding process. Additionally, a minimal transaction fee is applied on a deal-by-deal basis to cover the costs of ongoing monitoring, value creation initiatives, and reporting during the investment holding period. Upon exiting an investment, a 15% carried interest is allocated to the manager as compensation for their expertise and efforts. Beyond these clearly defined fees, investors are not subject to any additional or hidden charges. 

 The typical holding period for investments in this asset class varies due to its illiquid nature. However, an average horizon of 5 to 10 years is generally observed. The network will align its investment horizon with this average, while also considering extensions for well-performing companies that necessitate a longer gestation period to reach their full potential. This approach balances the need for liquidity with the potential for exceptional returns from promising ventures. 

 We prioritize engagement with innovative companies that align with our investment thesis. We encourage such companies to submit their pitch decks through our online platform or by connecting with one of the member hubs within the Ibom Innovation Network.
